About the Studio
Miss Chloe’s is dedicated to preserving the joy of experiencing classical dance and performing arts through affordable yet high quality progression training and instruction in a truly non-competitive environment, where all students are valued and celebrated for their effort and dedication to the art.
Ballet is our core foundation and is most recommended, however we offer various styles of dance. As an active member of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce, in addition to our annual productions, we regularly perform and participate in seasonal community events, parades and more on top of our annual productions. Classes are ever-evolving and are currently offered for all preschool through adults in beginner, intermediate, professional and recreational levels.

Chloe Routson
STUDIO OWNER / INSTRUCTOR
Chloe is a lifelong dancer in the areas of classical ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern and tap for over 15 years, studying pre-professional dance for more than a decade. A Loudon County native, Chloe has studied ballet theory and anatomy throughout her life since adolescence. In 2012, she was chosen to attend Tennessee’s Governor’s School for the Arts where she was selected by Greg and Laurie Merriman to perform a self-choreographed routine for the “Best of the Best” Gala; Chloe is an Appalachian Ballet Company Alumni, dancing roles in 2011 and 2012 Nutcracker and other works. In college, Chloe earned an Associates degree in Paralegal studies while simultaneously working in the ballroom and social dancing industry, and uses many skills from college to run her own business. She is also a passionate homeschool mom who loves all things education, and is thrilled to offer homeschool classes for students to attend during the day in addition to her traditional evening courses for children. She truly believes in the quote “it takes a village to raise a child” and thrives being a part of the daily lives of children of all walks of life in a positive way, finding joy teaching life lessons and building confidence in her students. Most importantly, she humbly finds joy daily conducting classes and watching her students grow. Chloe not only teaches all ages in all areas, but specializes in preschool, toddler and early elementary programs, creating lesson plans and putting on children’s events, parties, community gatherings and entertainment. Miss Chloe is a certified instructor and is CPR Certified. Miss Chloe is dedicated to preserving the joy of classical performing arts without the added pressure of competition, striving to uniquely ensure students conduct themselves both in the classroom and on the stage in an age-appropriate manner and find the joy in dance from within. Chloe has been leading and teaching programs in Loudon County for 5 years, directing many events and programs including serving two years directing the Greenback Angels Dance Team, a charity and sponsorship program for young girls in Greenback from 2019 – 2021, sponsoring and hosting Greenback’s 2021 High School Prom, sponsoring many students annually, hosting Lenoir City’s Princess Day in downtown Lenoir City in 2022, 2022 & 2023’s Community Halloweentown Performance in downtown Lenoir City, numerous Children’s recitals and festival performances, including “Beauty & the Beast” in 2021, "Phantom of the Opera" in 2024. Miss Chloe’s School of Dance was nominated in Blount County’s People’s Choice of ‘Best Dance Studio’ in 2021 and has been featured in several local news outlets since then. Alongside homeschooling her son, teaching her students and dancing with her colleagues, she is also a member of a prestigious salsa performance group and competes in ballroom dance. Now a member of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce, Miss Chloe’s now plays an active roll in city performances, events and happenings downtown and is thrilled to continue serving the community, providing dance at rates comparable to surrounding area studios.

Miss Torye
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
Miss Torye is a former member of Maryville’s Appalachian Ballet Company. She studies dance year-round and travels to intensives to further her dance education and is now a lead performer for our new program, the Loudon County Dance Theatre in the areas of classical ballet, contemporary and jazz. Torye won Loudon County’s Distinguished Young Women competition of 2023. Miss Torye leads our productions playing roles such as “Gaston” in our 2022 Production of “Beauty and the Beast" in the Lyric Theatre in Loudon, "Barbie" in our showcase, “Prima Donna" in the Loudon County Dance Theatre's 2024 production of Phantom of the Opera" in Harriman's Princess Theatre, and "Cinderella" in 2023's student recital. You will find her working hard with our students day in and out, assisting with classes and rehearsals or filling in as a substitute teacher. She has a heart for teaching and strives to make all children feel seen and valued. This year she was selected to choreograph and judge routines for the Mary Blount Elementary School Cheer team. She has been teacher training with Miss Chloe for 2 years and is thrilled to be assisting and dancing with us full time. -
Mr. Cameron & Miss Abby
Cameron and Abby are married professional dance artists and have been members of our studio for 2 years now. Abby has studied ballet for over 20 years, earning a bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in technical theatre and design. Miss Abby plays lead roles in our productions and encourages strength and resilience in our fellow adult dancers as she dances alongside them. You can find her assisting while cheering on our students or acting as substitute teacher, spreading joy everywhere she goes.
Cameron, husband to Abby and father of two, is our professional hip hop instructor. He has been successfully teaching and leading for more than 7 years. Mr. Cameron has a passion for true hip hop technique and intense training with his students. Mr. Cameron performs in our shows, wow-ing crowds with his infectious energy and humble attitude. He is a great role model for students aspiring to learn hip hop by providing age-appropriate, clean movement and music. He encourages self-expression and freestyling in his classes along with his challenging choreography and loves sharing his talents with our students, keeping up with the latest trends as dance evolves to offer our students new and exciting opportunities.
