About the Studio

Miss Chloe’s is dedicated to preserving the joy of experiencing classical dance and performing arts through affordable yet high quality progression training in a truly non-competitive environment, where all students are valued and celebrated for their effort and dedication to the art.

Ballet is our core foundation and is most recommended, however we offer various styles of dance. As an active member of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce, in addition to our annual productions, we regularly perform and participate in seasonal community events, at local businesses and more. We are your hometown dance studio. We offer a large lobby and viewing window for parents and host unique class opportunities.

  • Miss Chloe Routson

    STUDIO OWNER / INSTRUCTOR

    Chloe is a lifelong dancer in the areas of classical ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern and tap for over 15 years. A Loudon County native, Chloe has studied ballet theory and anatomy throughout her life. In 2012, she was chosen to attend Tennessee’s Governor’s School for the Arts where she was selected by Greg and Laurie Merriman to perform a self-choreographed routine for the “Best of the Best” Gala; Chloe is an Appalachian Ballet Company Alumni, dancing roles in 2011 and 2012 Nutcracker and other works. In college, Chloe earned a degree in Paralegal studies while simultaneously working in the ballroom and social dancing industry and starting her performing career in ballroom/ Latin. She is now a passionate mom who loves all things education, and is thrilled to offer homeschool classes for students to attend during the day in addition to her traditional evening courses. Chloe not only teaches all ages in all areas, but specializes in preschool, toddler and early elementary programs to advanced classes, but she thrives creating lesson plans and putting on events, parties, community gatherings and entertainment. Miss Chloe believes in performance art without the added pressure of competition, and strives to provide age appropriate classes, content and performances, especially costuming and music. Now a member of the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce, Miss Chloe bridges the gap between the dance community and local entities through directing and performing with the Loudon County Dance Theatre, a small local performance company established to bring joy and enrichment through performance artistry to our hometown in unique ways.   • Miss Abby

    Abby, administrative assistant and instructor, has studied dance for over 20 years, earning a bachelor's degree in Communications with a concentration in Technical Theatre and design. Miss Abby plays lead roles in our productions and encourages strength and resilience in our fellow adult dancers as she dances alongside them. Her passion is in classical ballet, modern, contemporary and tap dance. Abby loves connecting with parents, adult dancers and students as she spreads joy in the studio.

  • Miss Torye

    ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR

    Miss Torye is a former member of Maryville’s Appalachian Ballet Company and now a role model and lead performer for our new program, the Loudon County Dance Theatre. Torye won Loudon County’s Distinguished Young Women competition of 2023. She plays lead roles in our productions playing roles such as “Gaston” in our 2022 Production of “Beauty and the Beast" in the Lyric Theatre in Loudon, "Barbie" in our showcase, “Prima Donna" in the Loudon County Dance Theatre's 2024 production of Phantom of the Opera" in Harriman's Princess Theatre, and "Cinderella" in 2023's student recital. She has a heart for teaching and strives to make all children feel seen and valued, having teacher trained at Miss Chloe’s School of Dance for the past 3 years. In 2024, she was selected to choreograph and judge routines for the Mary Blount Elementary School Cheer team. Miss Torye loves teaching adult ballet, jazz and more.

  • Mr. Cameron

    Mr. Cameron is a hip hop instructor with nearly a decade of teaching experience and a lifetime love of dance. Leading his own teams, Cameron challenges his students with choreography and performance opportunities that are unique and authentic to true hip hop style.

  • Miss Hannah

    Hannah has been a dancer since the age of three, receiving the majority of her dance training from Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingsport, TN. She has the most experience in Tap dance, Kickline, Classical Ballet, and Jazz, but has added Hip Hop and Contemporary/Modern to her skillset in recent years. Her teaching career began in 2021 when she was given the opportunity to teach tap classes at Fuzion School of the Arts in Jefferson City, TN. As she began to find her teaching “groove,” she realized that she was passionate about helping kids reach their full potential through dance. She is so grateful to Miss Chloe’s School of Dance for welcoming her to Lenoir City and for giving her the opportunity to grow as a dancer and a teacher in this amazing dance community. You can find Hannah subbing and filling in for our instructors.
